The Municipality of Leamington was
honoured to be a Route Community for the Olympic Torch
Relay. The Torch Relay arrived in Leamington on the
morning of Wed. Dec. 23, 2009.For 2 hours a Celebration
was held at the Leamington Kinsmen Recreation Complex.
The large crowd that braved the cold was treated to a
spectacle, featuring appearances from home town heroes
such as Jody Raffoul, Dale Butler, Meghan Agosta, and
national talents such as Jessica Gorlicky. Join our
hosts Randy Ferguson, Brenda Fischer and Rod Martins as
we welcome Kevin Reid and the Olympic Flame to the
stage.
